We are Steve and Valerie Carmichael of Corbin, KY. Originally born in Cedar Falls, IA, we moved to Corbin in 1999. What a trip!! We moved 750 miles southeast because my husband found a new job with the City Utilites Commission. We got our first herd of llamas in 1998 from various llama owners in Iowa. We first heard of llamas when we had joined the Wildlife Rehabilitation Organization because we had inherited baby squirrels. Ever since then, we have been enchanted with llamas and eventually we will show our llamas. Our farm is on 17 acres back in the boonies far away from people. We like our privacy, and enjoy the wildlife around us. We have quite a selection of various pets and animals. We have two dogs, ten cats, four chinese pheasants, eight chickens, three geese, one duck, and one cockatiel. We also have a "pet" herion that comes to our pond once in a while. We enjoy all of our animals, and we are very content with what we have. We have one son named Marc, and he is our oldest. He is happily married to our wonderful daughter-in-law Bethani. We also have a daughter, Kerry, who is a junior in high school ,and constructed this web site for us. Impressive!!
